Monetary Gifts
Gift Fund
Donations to the Gift Fund support staff development, youth programs, and facility improvements. Unrestricted gifts give us the flexibility to meet the library’s evolving needs.
Please send contributions to the library, care of the Executive Director. Your generosity directly supports our mission.
Endowment Fund
Gifts to the Library Endowment Fund are invested to ensure long-term financial sustainability. These funds support major projects, consulting services, and unexpected needs.
Make checks payable to DeKalb County Community Foundation, with “Garrett Public Library Endowment Fund” in the memo line.

Donations of books and media are accepted at the discretion of library management. Acceptance depends on condition, space, and demand.

For major contributions or planned gifts, we encourage you to speak with the Executive Director. Together, we can ensure your gift aligns with your intentions and the library’s strategic goals.

Garrett Public Library is listed on Benevity, a workplace giving platform used by many employers. If your company participates, you may be able to support the library directly through their Benevity portal.
